The course covers responsibilities of the welder as they relate to evaluation of the weldment, the identification and classification of discontinuities, and the conditions that exist when evaluating discontinuities in order to form a    conclusion as to whether the welds are of quality and acceptable or unacceptable.  The objective of the course is for each welder to learn how to identify weld discontinuities and to reduce and eliminate repair to due unacceptable welds.

The Visual Weld Inspection Training can be done at your facility or at our school.

The program consists of:

1 ½ hour of DVD Instruction

5 hours of Classroom Lecture

Visual Weld Training Guide

Visual Weld Exam

Visual Weld Certificate of Achievement

Visual Weld School Stamp and CWI Stamp.
