Introduction to CAD & 3D Modeling

Students will be exposed to the world of computer-aided design (CAD) and 3D modeling from the concept of manufacturing. This is an entry-level course, and no previous experience is necessary. The 3-week (66 clock hours) course will cover simple part design, design intent, design troubleshooting, assemblies, and drawings. Graduates who successfully complete the course will receive their certification in Introduction to Computer-Aided Design. Certification is based on creating a fully defined drawing, a 3D model from a drawing, and a satisfactory completion of a written test.
